My only complaint is when you tighten the drawstrings at each end around your hammock it shortens your hammock. If they add another foot of material on both ends to reach the ends of the hammock it will be perfect. The way it is now I have to leave them loose and stuff my rain pants in one end ant rain jacket in the other to prevent a draft. Aside from that I have nothing but good things to say. Being dual use it goes everywhere with me. And I don’t have to pack an under quilt, top quit, and a sleeping bag. It’s a one and done.

It is a bit too small at the feet, making it hard to sleep more diagonally. Needs a foot box. And have to say was really disappointed was made in China. Thought was a small American family business making these.

I bought this bag last May in anticipation for hunting season in the fall. I have since spent at least 20 nights in this bag on four different hunts. Early season archery deer, archery elk, rifle elk, and Wyoming antelope. The coldest temperature I used this in was around 20 degrees. It worked awesome. This is my first down sleeping bag, before this I always used synthetics. I am a convert. The loft on this bag helps to fill the spots that normally cold air would come in. It is awesome. I am super comfortable in this bag. I used it like a regular sleeping bag. I did not use it in a hammock. I am a bigger (fat) guy and the extra inches in width built in to this bag for the intention of hammock camping made it the ideal bag for me. I am confident I could use this bag in a variety of circumstances and it would do well. One thing I really appreciate is the quality of the zipper. It does not snag and is super durable. I know you are going to love this bag!

I used it in the blue tent it ( or tarp) in 20 degree weather. I liked it I would say much colder than 20 and you would be cold. I had wool socks on and fully dressed. I love the fact at 250lbs 5’11” I can move around in it and lay on my side.

Quality, lightweight, easy to use. Outer material could be more durable

We use backpacking gear to camp while traveling on a touring motorcycle. I saw a Hyke and Byke hammock compatible bag review by a YouTuber who reviews gear for big and tall guys. I am 6'3" 270lbs. Mummy style bags, side sleepers, and "full size" guys don't usually go well together. Well, this one does! I ordered a long version and it was very roomy. Used it camping last weekend. I was SO comfortable and warm. It compresses enough to fit in a saddlebag. Now my wife wants one. Thank you Hyke and Byke for making a roomy bag and then pricing it so reasonably.

Love this bag! Nice and warm, plenty of room, planning to get one for my husband, and will be favoring this brand as I replace the gear my daughters are outgrowing as well.

After close inspection of every seam I could find zero down leaks .The quality is on a par with bags costing much more.Hanging the bag after tumbling it in a dryer made it over 9`` thick.Great bag and great service.

Curled up with it on my porch on a chilly morning with my coffee to enjoy the sunrise. I was so warm!

I have had it down to 18 degrees and stayed nice and warm wearing my base layer and fleece socks. Easy to get into the hammock and bag too. I am 5'6" and the regular length is long enough that I can pull it up over my face and stay totally wrapped in down goodness.

Kinda fire honestly. I used without the hammock for some car camping and I appreciated the extra room to wiggle. Pretty warm
. Dope stuff.

Toasty, Lightweight, BETTER THAN MUMMYPOD!
I got the long version, It’s totally worth the extra 10 bucks. I recommend getting a short hammock to use with this. I tried my 11ft double hammock, and it just wasn’t comfortable with the sides of the hammock folding over my face, because of how low the ends of the bag had to be on the hammock.
With a shorter and skinnier 8.5ft hammock ($9.99 on amazon) I slept like a baby. The foot of the sleeping bag could cinch around the foot of the hammock, and the head of the bag sits right where it needs to be. I can lay partially diagonal with the smaller hammock while I couldn’t do this with the longer hammock.
I’ve slept with this bag down to 40 degrees so far and it was still totally warm with just a t-shirt and boxers. I even had the head and foot holes loose to release some warmth. I also slept in it last night in 65 degrees and just had it unzipped and folded around my shoulders to be basically an underquilt. It worked just fine.
Something to consider with this configuration is that your knees may be a bit overextended if you are a back sleeper, so bring an inflatable pillow or something to put under your knees, and you will be so much more comfortable.
You can also shift the down fill around to be warmer on top or bottom, which is nice.
To conclude, This thing is great for a really wide range of temperatures. It still fits in the sleeping bag compartment in my pack and only weighs 4lb. Much better than a mummypod because the hood is still usable!!

Toasty Warm!
I just started hammock camping recently and my old bag was too cold and too awkward to get into in the hammock. I decided to buy a 0deg bag as a replacement for my old 20deg mummy bag which just didn't fit me anymore. I have set it up with the hammock in the back yard and it seemed great. Last weekend I went camping and there were no trees to set up my hammock :-( so I used it in my tent on the ground with a therm-a-rest scout pad inside. We had temps in the upper 20's low 30's over night and I felt toasty and warm inside my new bag. Plenty of room for me inside to move around. Can't wait to use it with my hammock!

Highly recommend
Amazing! Best sleeping system I have ever used. I have tried other hammock pods but this one keeps me warmest. I love it when i take it backpacking and it’s by far the quickest set up and everyone looks at you like you are a butterfly in a cocoon and that you are crazy for not having a pad or a tent then we go to bed and nomine sleeps well except me and my wife in our pods as we were warm and dry all night every night. If you hammock it’s a must it’s sooo much better than any sleep system with a hammock as it leaves you so much more to move around in your hammock and stay warm.

1 Bag to rule them all!
I love this bag! I went camping last weekend and it got a little cool out but I thought I would give this a go even-tough is was overkill for the night time temp. I left it unzipped but it still kept me toast warm. It was very easy to slide on my hammock without out any trouble what so ever. I was the envy of the group (They got cold in their hammocks.). I highly recommend this to anyone whom loves the outdoors. It's a must get!

Extremely comfortable!! Used about a dozen times already.
At first I thought the Crestone 0 hammock bag looked like a trash bag as mine is black and shiny. Once sleeping in it, I was amazed at how comfortable it was. I bought a second one for my wife so we can camp together. Something about being comfortable in the cold open air and listening to the animals around like deer, coyotes, screech owls, and many others is amazing. Anything lower than 20F would require additional gear in my opinion. Strongly recommend the long so you have plenty of room.

Purchased the blue, regular length crestone 0degree for winter hammock camping. first outing, snowing, temps in the 20s at day time, first night windchills were somewhere between 5 to 10 degrees above 0 Fahrenheit. did have a light down throw added into the bag with me just in case (as comfort rated for 30 degrees on high end and survival is 0) and even when pushing the throw to one side, still had to unzip part way to vent some of the extra heat. same thing for second night with temps hovering around 20. The investment was worth it, cant wait to get out for december, january and february winter hammock camping!
