I had bought the Yosemite tent for my kids for scouts and was super happy with the quality, ease of set-up, and price. When I needed a new tent for myself, I decided to try the Zion. I have used it on one camping trip and already I like it (even in the rain!). It's a great tent at a great price. Totally worth it!

Went to hike the Havasupai trail- camped there for 3 days to see Havasu, Mooney and Beaver Falls. It was cold (20F), windy and it rained. Our tent held-up and protected us from the element. No seepage and did not collapse! Thank you Hike and Byke!!
I love this tent. Not quite as lightweight as the description makes it seem, but I’ve had smaller tents tat weigh as much or more. Easy to set up and has a ton of room. Holds up very well in strong winds (50+ mph gusts) and not a drop of rain got inside. There are a couple rather insignificant complaints… needs guy lines for the head and foot ends to make the fly nice and taut, the plastic stops on the drawstrings will slide off over the knots in the drawstrings, and the hem for the drawstring on the stuff sack is a bit tight. Pros, it is very roomy, lots of ventilation with and without the fly, and helpful customer service that responds very quickly
Had a defect on a rain fly and sent them a picture. It was replaced asap. Awesome products, awesome company. Perfect combo
Overall great compact tent, very durable materials and easy to set up. The tent has a surprising amount of room in side and has great ventilation. Overall would recommend.
Amazing tent! Lightweight and so easy to assemble! Everything I was looking for in my new tent! Also love the company’s mission statement! Finally- Great communication and customer service! Thank you!
I have been looking for a tent to fit my needs and this one is perfect!!
Love this tent! Took it out this summer and it did not disappoint! I really like the two separate doors and vestibules. There is plenty of room for two people and a hound! I have not had it out in any kind of poor weather, but I am excited to see how it performs in the fall and cooler temps. Overall, very light. It can get a bit bulky when stowing. I am very glad I purchased this tent and highly recommend it!
Once figuring it out, this tent has been easy to set up, light enough to trek out, and spacious enough for two people to settle down without feel claustrophobic. The covered areas that create vestibules are great for storing gear so the inside of the tent can feel less crowded. Only reason not five stars is that instructions could have been made easier to understand, especially for novices in tying knots for the guy lines.
This tent is my outdoor bedroom. It sits on my back deck. I live in a rural area so there are no lights and very little noise (except howling coyotes).
I set up the tent, slid in an inflatable full size bed, and made it comfortable with my John Deere sheets, comforter, and pillows. I sleep under the stars without any bugs to pester me.
Unfortunately my sweet dreams were cut short this year. On August 18 I had a stroke and spent 30 days away from home. But next year I will again be out in my back yard to sleep.
Very happy with the zion tent. I have car camped with this tent. Very reliable through some heavy, windy thunderstorms in Florida.
A bit heavy for serious backpacking, but good for 2-4 day trips.
I also have a yosemite 2 person tent.
Again very reliable in some heavy rains
My two daughters used it for a 4 day backpack on Catalina Island. Very happy.
Excellent in the rain and wind and the zippers were great in the sand.
Overall the rent was good. The only area of improvement would be one stake bent then broke when trying to straighten on first use. Second the first camping trip was very windy and the tent was incredibly noisy.
Haven't used it yet except to set it up and make sure I could but it's of well enough design and I'm sure it will gets lots of use over the years .
Have not really used it yet. We did have no problem setting it up. Actually had a competition with my Scouts, youngest two scouts against the oldest two and the youngest two (10 year olds) Set it up in 5 minutes and beat the two 15 year olds. One of my parents was so impressed by the ease of setting this tent up he got his son one. I am anxious to use it soon, unfortunately it's to hot to camp in a tent in Louisiana right now.
When I retired traded motorcycles so I could do long trips. Go by myself and like a midsized bike. After looking for a few weeks decided on a Zion 2P tent. Easy setup and comes with a ground tarp. I did buy a plastic hammer for the tent stakes which also makes pulling them out easy. Yes it is possible to bend them but they are easily straightened. Two vestibules are big enough to put my gear and a small camp chair in at night. It has been rained on been in wind gusts and even light hail and oh must not forget the night I made a poor decision on a campsite and a flock of birds was over me. Thru all of that the tent has performed flawlessly and only after 3 years am i starting to see some effects of many nights on the road. For the price it is hard well really impossible to find a better tent. I’ve looked at other tents even those up to $700 and there is nothing I’ve found that is better.
Purchased the tent on a whim for a camping trip in France. The tent performed incredibly well under the circumstances, including surviving and staying dry in multiple thunderstorms that included pea sized hail. I wholeheartedly recommend this tent.
This is not the actual photo I wanted to share of my wagon train adventure but it does show my camping buddy’s tent. With an impending storm everyone else took their poles down. I left my Zion tent as is. My tent was bone dry on the inside after the storm (with 50 mile hour winds) while everyone else took on water. My tent held up like a champ. I did, however, use heavier stakes around the base of the tent. The current stakes are not strong enough.
Great little tent. I am not an avid camper and I bought this based off of a friends recommendation. It arrived quickly. Took it out Memorial Day weekend and it was super easy and intuitive to set up. It was hot so we really appreciated the way the rain flap is designed to still allow ventilation. It fit 2 people comfortably.
Ok, so the tent is great except mine showed up with a small defect. Not such a big deal in itself, as you can see still used the tent and it kept us dry, however I’ve tried several times to bring this defect to the attention of Hyke & Byke and have never received so much as a reply. Otherwise dollar for dollar it’s a fantastic tent. Used for 4 nights it rained and was cool the first 2, dry and warm the next 2, great tent in both scenarios. If not for lack of response from them I’d give the tent a 5Star review and buy more gear from them.
I backpack a lot and this tent is super easy and well built. I bought a second for my son. Take it from a park ranger, this is one you want.
Took it to the Great Sand Dunes and camped in the back dunes. Survived 30+mph winds and took it like a champ. It was just as strong as other much more expensive tents.
It's pretty great, love the design and the features, it's a really good price. My only criticism is that the poles aren't QUITE as refined as my other Hyke & Byke tent (Yosemite 1 person tent). The aluminum ends of the poles are a bit sharp and kinda stick when you're putting them together and taking them apart. It's all good though, especially cause it's cheap
Very well made. Not the lightest tent out there but meets my backpacking needs. The price makes it exceptional!!
Reasonably easy to put up even though it had no instructions. No yet exposed to rain so no comment on waterproof ability.
I have a 2 person from another big brand that costs nearly twice as much. This is a fantastic tent for the price and has an impressive spec sheet. I purchase a down sleeping bag from hyke and byke as well and it is also a superb product.
I had the Yosemite tent before and upgraded to the Zion since my last one floated downstream on the Current River in Missouri. (hopefully someone is enjoying that one now). The one pole set up was a bit tricky at first, but I've got it down. Love the room in this tent. My only complaint is the fly. Most tents with a fly have little pockets on the interior of the fly for the cross bar to slide into. This keeps the fly centered and top at the topmost point. This fly does not have that and it would be really inexpensive to add them. I couldn't get the fly adjusted correctly with the top seam of the fly centered on top of the crossbar. Guess I'll have to play with it, but it would have been so simple with interior pockets. To the engineers at Hyke & Byke, please add for future purchasers!
The tent was light-weight and roomy enough for two. Love it.
We camped on Peanut Island in FL. Tent was easy to carry over on the ferry, quick to set up, and kept us and our gear dry in a tropical rainstorm!
The tent worked great and held up well in high winds. Only problem I had was the storage bag ripped on the first use.
Only used it once, so far so good
This tent has features far beyond its price. While not the lightest 2p tent, no tent for this price comes remotely close to as light, nor features two doors, two huge vestibules, a full-coverage fly, full-mesh interior, or included footprint.
Also: one-piece aluminum pole, sturdy stakes, gear hammock, lantern/headlamp hook. The spiffy details go on and on.

Great quality, over-sized compared to other two-person tents. At 6 pounds, I would not call it a backpacking tent but a top tier car camping tent for sure.
Have not used it outdoors yet but it was the easiest tent I have ever put up. Took one person just a couple of minutes. It’s very roomy.
For the money this is a great tent. I bought it because someone I was on a 3/2 for my first trip ever had one, it did great for him. I had a cheap target tent and he had this. I got ate up with chiggers and he didn’t. It is huge inside and has plenty of storage. That said, saying that it is a UL tent is quite a stretch at almost 6 lbs. I have since replaced it with a Telos TR2 solely based on the weight at less than 3 lbs. I am keeping this tent though for my son’s and as a loaner when they tag along as I carry most of the weight anyway. Under the same circumstances, I would absolutely buy another one thought, great tent….
Thank you for the invitation to rate your gear. Unfortunately, the recipient of this gift received other substitute items and I need to return this one. However, your return process was not working when i contacted your company and I am still awaiting the information promised to accomplish it. I haven't opened the gear, so I am unable to rate it any further.
Have had this tent for over 2.5 years, and it's performed flawlessly every time. It's spent four nights on the AT, countless camping weekends with my son and his scout troop, and most recently three nights in the ten thousand island area of Everglades National Park. Camping in Florida can be oppressively muggy, so weather permitting, we usually skip the rain fly and just use the mesh tent itself.
- Crazy easy to set up. When we paddles ashore on a mosquito and no-see-um infested island, being able to get the tent set and get inside in less than five minutes is a big plus.
- No leaks at all in 2.5 years.
- Excellent ventilation with no rainfly, good ventilation with fly on and vestibule opened. Fair when fully closed.
- Appreciate the pockets in each corner and the hanging hook and mesh shelf at top of tent.
- Mesh/zippers/poles holding up perfectly.
- Included footprint makes this an even better bang for the buck.
- A little heavy and bulky for backpacking. We generally split the load, but would like an optional, ultralight rain fly as the bulk of weight and size seems to be in the rain fly.
- After multiple beach (salt water) camping trips over the past few years, the grommets on the footprint and tent corners are showing signs of rust. Not affecting performance, at least not yet.
Great product with excellent customer service !
This was the easiest tent to set up that I’ve ever had! The single pole makes it really easy and fast — less than 10 minutes plus a few more for the rain fly. The construction seems sturdy, despite being light weight. I have the 2 person tent for just myself, and there was plenty of room for gear inside with me. There is also plenty of room for 2 people to sleep comfortably inside with a little interior gear storage and sufficiently large vestibules for the rest of the gear. Also super easy to pack up and get going in the morning. I would definitely recommend this to a friend (and have already).
Overall happy with the quality and design of the tent. My only complaint is that after being in steady light rain for 24 hours, I noticed a small leak originating from 2 of the fly tie downs. It was small enough, (not enough to get everything wet) but annoying to wipe dry occasionally and unexpected for a brand new tent. I put seam sealer on the fly tie downs and I hope that fixes the problem.
1st of all, awesome customer service. Delivery driver, delivered it to the wrong address.. bike and bike was gong to refund me until a guy in my neighborhood brought it over. I used the tent once, it set up super easy and did the job perfectly.

Our first time camping. We got there at night and it was such an easy set up!
I have just set it up to check it out and it went great and looks awesome.
Great tent! Love that is comes with the footprint. Doors on each side so you’re not stepping over your each other. The rain fly extends over each entrance so you can tuck gear under it to keep it dry. Awesome tent, great price for what you get!
The rain fly is too short. It poured the night we used it, and the water and mud spattered in the tent.
Excellent tent, waterproof!
Absolutely love it! Love the weight, love the size, love the design, love the ease of set up. The double entry/vestibule is awesome. The only thing I would add is a stuff sack which I did and it stuffs nicely to the same size as a packable sleeping bag.
This tent held up great. only used it twice but I really liked its erasability to setup and all the features it comes with.
This tent is great.
I was not disappointed by any of the features and liked the aluminum peg-pusher-disk-thing even more than I thought I would. Great for rocky/tough ground. I haven't used it in the rain yet so I can't speak to that experience but I did take the tent down while the fly was still up (just to try) and that feature is quite nice. I can see that being really useful in a deluge.
I'm left wondering what the effects of the different colours may be on the heat and humidity within the tent.
I would buy again (but don't expect to have to for quite some time).
This is a very nice tent but way too much tent for a backpacker. Ideal tent for 2 people to split the load but too much for 1 person especially in the mountains.
Great tent. Simple and easy to use. Waterproof -- withstood our rainstorm on our trip. We took a pretty intense backpacking trip and a lighter tent might have been appropriate but we split the parts between the two of us and we were fine. For the price, it is a great tent.
This tent is worth every penny and then some. For a very reasonable price you get a footprint nice tent stakes and a serious rain fly. This tent is on par with my MSR Muthu Hubba but at a far cheaper price.
If there is one critique, I can make it is that the stitching of the inner tub of the tent has a lot of loose thread ends. The stitching is all intact, but the loose ends are just begging to be pulled which would cause the stitching to fail. Its easily remedied with a small pair of scissors and sometime snipping them off. I would not be surprised if little hands pulled on them and then there were some complaints of failed stitching in the future.
This tent is a winner in my book. Its easy to justify adding this one to your collection at the price.
Bought this to replace my old MSR tent. The ventilation is way better and now has two doors!!! Love it!
Can’t find a better tent. So easy to set up my 8 and 10 year old set it up all the time. Love the full netting and both doors. Waterproof as well! Really can’t say enough. Ended up buying a second for the rest of the family and ditched our huge 8p tent that took forever to set up.
Before a long cycling tour, I erected my REI Half Dome 2 Plus tent at home & discovered my pole frame elastic had stretched to the point I wasn't totally sure they'd hold for the entire trip, so I quickly needed a Plan B. I did not want to spend another $300 on a tent. That is when I discovered the Hyke & Byke website & purchased their 2-person Zion tent. Yes, it was a couple ounces heavier than the Half Dome, but the difference was never noticed when carried on my bike. I actually set both tents up side by side in my yard to make my final decision, and it was a NO BRAINER! The Zion won out in spades. It had a higher peak for comfortable sitting, it was longer for laying down so neither my sleeping bag/feet nor head with pillow touched the tent walls, the bathtub basin it taller & felt like sturdier material all around, PLUS the entire tent packed down 6" shorter (including pole frames) & skinnier. When I took the tent on tour, I was MORE THAN PLEASED with my decision!! This tent was solid and so fast to set up or take down. I also need to give 2-thumbs up for the hand-held stake press that is included. It came in handy & held the envy of others in my tour group looking for rocks to pound in stakes. I did share it with few, but made sure I got it back so it didn't get lost. Several people on the tour stated they would be looking into getting this tent as well, it was that nice! I may even buy the 1-person model to have on hand for certain occasions, but I sure enjoyed the roominess of the 2-person!!! If you are on the fence about buying this Zion tent, my recommendation from multiple nights sleeping in it, is to get it.
Quick and easy setup, and plenty of space for my boyfriend and I. We bought this for a backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevadas, and it was able to withstand and protect us from being absolutely hammered by severe weather.
Great tent rained during first use stayed dry all night!!
The tent is a little difficult to install, requires some practice. We camped in an area with a lot of wind and dirt. Since the inner tent is completely netted, there was a lot of dust in the tent even with the outer covering on. Would recommend the inner tent to be half netted so that it better protects the inside. Also, one of the structure pole broke during our stay resulting in the tent slightly collapsing. But the wind was very strong and properly the cause of it. Finally, the pegs are fragile and break easily. Overall, it’s pretty light and condensed when packed. It has a lot of storage pockets inside and it’s a tent that maintains heat well.
The tent was easy to setup, spacious and well made.
I finally had a chance to try out my new Zion 2 tent on a two day backpacking trip and I could not be happier with the tent, and with the overall purchase experience from Hyke&Byke! - While there are some small areas of weakness, overall, for the price, even compared to much more expensive brands this tent seems durable, with great waterproofing on all seams, excellent pole design, and really great tent pegs with the handy peg pusher which is amazing! I have used an MSR Hubba Bubba before (more expensive) and I can say the zippers in particular on the Zion seem much more sturdy and reliable!
Bottom Line - Excellent tent for the price, features & weight
Great product! Great Price!
The 3rd tent I bought. I'm impressed by the good quality and great price. Well engineered and easy setup.
Took the tent on an 8-day motorcycle trip and couldn't have been more happy with it. One night had 40+ MPH winds and the tent was rock-solid . Another night rained all night and was actually snowing in the morning. I was able to take the tent down from the inside with the fly still up and pack it away dry. It's also quick and easy to set up. I was hoping for warmer weather so I could camp without the fly, but that will have to wait until my next trip.
So far, this tent is pretty awesome! Light, SO easy to set up, great size. The spikes are very lightweight and they give you a little tool to protect your hand while putting them in. Everything wraps up pretty well. I love that the whole tent is netting, its perfect for looking up at the stars. You just have to sorta peel back the rain fly to do so which isn't too big of a deal, but that's the only thing I wish were different. Would totally recommend!
Went camping that cold, rainy Memorial Day weekend in New York. I was dry…absolutely no water! Rain was cold and pouring….love the two doors.. one night had to share my tent and two doors great for getting in and out….. put tent up once for a trial run and to treat. When camping it was dark, cold and rainy…tent went up with ease for a 60 year old woman putting up tent by herself!
Was up for a week at scout camp with buckets of rain. Stay nice and dry, inside.
Tent is good quality all around. Good stakes, nice stake pusher thing, comes with a footprint, and all for a good price. I have used it for 7 nights so far, all in different locations. It’s pretty easy to set up and take down, and it does actually fit in the tent bag, which is shocking. The only issue I’ve had is that the screw fell out of the “one pole” so now it is actually 2 poles. The screw holds the top perpendicular small pole to the main pole set. It still works bc I can get it to nest on there and the tension holds it together just fine.
Also, the tent doesn’t pack down super small like some more expensive tents. Perhaps to be expected in this price range. All in all, a good value for the money, and good quality.
Hi Guys! I’ve been Scouting for over 30 years, slept in almost every tent design out there. I Just got back from my first scout overnight with my new Zion 2 man tent on its shake down voyage. I’m a good sized ol’ boy 6’ 2”tall and about 275lbs I purchased the 2 man for me. Really impressed! Lots of room to move around and space for my gear. It was just one night out and about 95 degrees during the day and dropped down in the upper 60’s that night. Great tent! Had the rain fly on (the weather man was calling for rain) and the flaps open what a great night it turned out to be! Set up was a snap, took your advice and did a pre-setup before I left. Everything I hoped this tent would be! Very impressed with the knock down and storage. My other 2 man tent barely has enough room for the tent, rain fly
and poles. I added a ground cloth and boy is it tight fitting. You and your crew did it right! The storage bag is roomy for the rain fly, tent, foot print/ground cloth, poles, stakes and I even added a couple bags of stakes( the boys seem to forget these things) and still the storage bag was roomy! Very impressed with the Zion 2 man tent! It is Now My Go To 2 Man Tent!! VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE AND SHARING WITH THE OTHERS IN MY TROOP!
THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT TENT AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL!

Love this tent! The materials are awesome. Love how the footprint is included. This is a well designed, well made tent. And that stake setting tool is indispensable!
Green River in Dinosaur NP... Honest review, second use - the materials seem very thin, zippers are minimalistic, not heavy duty at all and the tent floor design is problematic during dust / sand storms, both encroach into the interior of the tent, due to the wind blowing it under the rain fly and through the mesh... Haven't experienced rain yet -
Size is perfect for one person and all of your gear inside. Used for motorcycle travel, the tent is exceptionally light, due to the lighter gauge materials, I suspect.
Bottom line: If it maintains it's structural integrity and preforms for a couple / three years of medium duty use, consider yourself fortunate -
Value - excellent price point - You can buy 5 of these for the same price as one backcountry tent at the high end retailers, who shall remain nameless-
Loved the tent I bought! Received it very quickly. Would love if it was a tiny bit lighter but overall AMAZING product
The tent is super easy to setup alone. The pole just snaps together on its own. The first 1.2 days of my camping trip was in the nonstop rain, and the tent kept me completely dried. However, I can't help worrying about the material of the tent. It seems to be easy to tear, hopefully it will last long. I also wish the rainfly has a window, so I would be able to see what is going on outside without unzipping the doors. Overall, I like it quite a bit so far.
We love this tent. We took our first bikepacking tour this weekend. Due to a miscommunication about camping registration, we got booted our of our camp in and had to take our tent down and put it back up at another location in the middle of the night! It was so easy to do, even by cellphone flashlight. We love the thoughtful design, storage compartments and storage bags.
Very good quality tent. It’s a pleasant surprise to get this level equipment at reasonable prices.
I am so happy with the tent, I ordered a sleeping bag from Hyke and Byke as well.
Been searching for a light weight easy to set up backpacking tent and this is the winner! So easy to set up even alone! Light weight and very durable! The light pole stakes are very very nice! Love this tent!
I like the ease of setup and light weight for backpacking. I am a little concerned about cold nights in the mountains because the rain fly does not completely enclose the tent from wind. But I do have a warm sleeping bag, so hopefully it will be enough. I got this tent specifically for the air flow and bug netting for summer hiking and it does not disappoint. I'm hiking half of the PCT this year, do there will be a variety of terrain and weather. Hopping that this tent is good for the entire hike. Thanks. This is a very well constructed product. Zippers a easy and the tent fabric is not too loud. (One of my pet peeves)
Great tent! Super easy to set up and lots of space inside!!!!
Great tent easy to set up
Haven't used it yet. Eight day trip next month for its first use. I've pitched it and it is very easy to set-up. Looking forward to my trip.
Awesome tent at a great price!! Very satisfied!!!
My family all went for a 24 mile hike in the Sandia mountains and 3 out of 5 of us had a Hyke & Byke tent. I absolutely love how easy it is to set up, it goes up so fast. My husband and I have the Zion 2 person and it is so spacious and the two vestibules were critical for holding our backpacks during the night. The mesh pockets at each corner of the tent are very convenient and the cargo holder for the top is awesome. We actually hocked a headlamp to the clip at the top and it worked great to light up the tent. Very well thought out design. The one thing that I would change is have the rain fly come all the way to the ground. We were in windy, freezing weather and with the fly not all the way to the ground and the tent being mesh it allowed for the wind to blow right through. Otherwise, 5 star from us!!!
Regardless of how good a deal this is, the tent is just a great tent, plain and simple! Bravo Hyke and Byke!
Super happy with this tent. You will not find a better 2 person backpacking tent in this price range. I’m beyond thrilled with the quality and features. Everything feels like it is made with solid craftsmanship. The design is thoughtful and everything makes a lot of sense. When you’re setting this up and sleeping in it, you will keep thinking to yourself “oh wow, I’m so glad they thought of that!”
Plenty of room for my son and I! Easy set up/tear down.
It was super easy to set up and the quality is great!
I took a chance on this tent based on the reviews. It is easy to set up, has multiple nice features, is taped on the seams, and included a footprint and tent stakes with a device to push them down by hand. I took this tent out for four days at Pisgah in North Carolina and I was very worried when it started raining. It rained for 12 hours one day and the interior of my tent was bone dry. I was really impressed with this tent for the price as it replaced a very expensive brand I wasn’t really happy with.
After a lot of research we purchased two of these tents. This past weekend I took my oldest camping with his Boy Scout troop. We were each in our own tent.
Night 1: Set-up was a breeze and I loved that the fly cords and the tent glow when light is shined on them in the dark. I spent the first night in the tent and was amazed at all the space I had - I didn't feel cramped at all and had a great night sleep. I awoke to a slight drizzle but all was dry in the inside. The fly doesn't touch the netting of the tent so even items touching the netting were dry.
Night 2: The rain started at 9:00 and continued for 8 hours. At times the wind was blowing and the rain was torrential. Some boys at camp had tent failures and we awoke to many wet kids. My son and I were DRY AS A BONE. I even left my rain boots that were covered in mud outside the tent under the 'vestibule' and they were DRY.
When we got home the conditions were perfect for drying the footprint and the fly. I got the tents dried and for the first time in my entire life, I was able to get the tent back into the bag it came in!! To top it off I was even able to get a blow-up sleeping bag pad and a blow-up pillow into the tent bag!! I cannot say enough great things about this tent!!! Worth every single penny!!!
I own a Yosemite 1 and a Zion 2 they are both very good tents. I would recommend them to anyone.
Really pleased with this tent. Got it on sale for under $200 CAD. Shipped quickly, which was great. Seems to be solidly built. The zippers are a dream - so smooth.
There's plenty of space for 2 people, and it's long enough you could likely get your gear in too if you aren't super tall. I'm 5'10" and have lots of space at my feet. I love that the pole shape gives you nearly vertical walls and so much head room. It's an easy tent to set up, too. I haven't used it on the trail yet - the weather is still too cold - but have been having regular rec room "camp outs" with my son. You could have this tent set up and staked out in probably 10 min. Takes us 5 to get the tent clipped to the poles and the fly thrown over for effect.
The only downside is that it is a bit heavier than expected. The weight given doesn't take into account the footprint, and even then I think it's a bit heavier than advertised. Still it's plenty light enough for me as I don't backpack solo, so can split the weight between me and whoever I'm traveling with.
I will update this review after I've taken the tent out a few times.
Great tent but, outermost rain fly doesn’t touch the ground. Therefore, wind blows dust through the tent.
I was camped in the woods and a bear came along and ate me.
I love this tent. Easy to set up, easy to break down. Durable yet lightweight. Great tent.
Absolutely love the Zion 2 person tent. It is worth the money and more. It is easy to set up and breakdown, lots of room, and made with quality materials. It held up very well in the wind and rain. Love it so much, I bought two of these tents.
Quality product; No missing parts; Quick shipping.
Very stable, simple to set up, great ventilation, and a great price.
Bought two tents. One for my daughter and her boyfriend and one for my granddaughters. They love the tents. The customer service was very responsive.
Set up indoors due to weather. Lighter and more spacious than any other tent I have ever had. Love the compact size and a bag that fits all parts easily. Love the one pole system. Will be a great piece of equipment for the motorcycle as well as trail adventures.
Bought this tent for a good friend for her birthday abd Christmas and she loves it.. We set it up in my living room and while it is a little bigger or heavier than i preferred, it seemed well made and durable. It will work well for her. She likes the light blue color too.
